Kathe Ray
I was led to write this book. Through our experience of adopting four teenagers from Ukraine and all of the trauma that followed, I learned that thousands of families are living quiet lives of horror after adoption, many afraid to speak out with the truth. Why? Fear of their lives from their adoptees, fear of governmental agencies, and fear of losing more friends and family who just don't believe them or who turn them into the "authorities". Too many good parents are losing the fight for their families and they feel completely isolated. They are told things like, "They just need more love", or "It can't be as bad as you say", so parents just suffer in silence. NO MORE!
There is an army of broken adoptive families and ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! We will stand strong together and with this book as our tool we will educate those who can make changes to this damaged system. I went back and forth writing for too many months because I didn't want to relive the horror our family experienced. One morning I prayed hard to Yahweh to show me clearly what I was supposed to do. The very next morning I woke up with the clear thought of "Quit being a Jonah and write the book!" That day I started writing with purpose - 14 hours a day - writing and re-writing. For YOU!

If you are an adoptive parent....YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!
